Congratulations to all the girls in Form II for a wonderful assembly!
During the assembly, Form II retold the story of Florence’s life amazing life. The girls read clearly and confidently, and their detailed artwork was admired by all. The girls also performed some of the key moments in Florence’s life.
Form II finished off their assembly by sharing some of their reflections and thoughts about Miss Nightingale.
We all really enjoyed learning about Florence Nightingale. We admired her. She was confident, caring and worked very hard. Florence achieved her dream and her goal to become a nurse.
But how did she do this? She had great courage. She persevered. She wasn’t put off by other people. She believed that things could change.
Perhaps we need a little bit of Florence inside us all to help us reach our own goals and dreams.
