School Lunch

School lunches are freshly cooked in the kitchens. A balanced and varied diet is offered, with the emphasis on fresh fruit and vegetables, and children are encouraged to try a variety of different foods; a hot vegetarian option is also available. School lunches are included in the cost of the fees.

There are three different lunch sittings:

Reception and Form I11.45am
Form II and Form III12.15pm
Forms IV, V and VI12.45pm

After lunch, the girls play outside for half an hour before recommencing lessons for the afternoon session. As at break-time, they are required to change into plimsolls for the lunch hour.

Snacks and Drinks

Break-time food should consist of a small healthy snack, such as a piece of fruit. All girls are encouraged to bring a named water bottle into school. In addition, cold water drinking facilities are available.
