Form IV had an amazing trip to the Science Museum. We explored the Flight Gallery and discovered that a character in our book, Dragonracers, is based on a real person who was as pioneer of flight based at Hendon Airfield.
We watched an exciting show in the WonderLab. St Hilda’s was chosen to test the scary chair full of nails! Thankfully it wasn’t sore to sit on because of the science around forces and pressure. After the show, we walked through the Space section and saw Tim Peake’s Soyuz module which he landed in after being on the ISS. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all.
