Nursery News 13th November 2023

17th November 23

Gosh, what a busy week we have enjoyed! We were thinking all about others this week. On Monday it was the start of Anti-Bullying Week and we all wore odd socks to school. We had a circle time thinking about how we are all different and special and celebrated all our differences. We thought about being kind to one another and made a ‘Kindness Hands’ poster for our classroom.

We celebrated Diwali with two of our friends for whom this is their special celebrations. We enjoyed looking at the photos of their celebrations with their families and asked lots of interesting questions. We also looked at all the lovely sparkly decorations that they used to celebrate this festival of light.

On Friday we thought about children that are not as lucky as us and enjoyed a Children in Need Fun Day. We dressed up in spotty clothes, had a teddy bear snack time, played spotty Busy Fingers games, enjoyed a teddy bear library time, and helped Mrs Tull to complete her last 20 Bearpees with the rest of the school so she achieved her 1000 target. Well done Mrs Tull.

We truly enjoyed thinking about others this week.
