Form One Friendship Festival May 2025

Form One were so lucky to be invited to the ISA London Friendship Festival with Mrs Halliday. It was the first time the Athletics Festival had been held for our year group.

We jumped into the school cars and dashed off to Willesden, North London first thing in the morning. We arrived just in time to start a super carousel of Athletics activities.

We took part in so many different challenges.

These included football games, where we had to dribble our footballs while trying to kick away our opponents’ balls! We played tag rugby, where we had to pull the tails off our opponents! We joined in with sack races, where we showcased our super sack jumping skills! We threw javelins and enjoyed playing a tennis ball games, where we had to steal our opponents’ balls!

We played tug of war and loved showing everyone how strong we were! We worked really well as a team to move water in little cups from one bucket to another. We also tried so hard to make our way to different cones in a ‘Floor is lava’ game, moving mats and not touching the ground.

We had a lovely packed-lunch made by Virginia and her team! Before taking part in lots of running races on a real track. We all tried so hard to run our fastest, competing against twenty schools, including lots of boys!

Mrs Bishop, Mrs Halliday and Mrs Farrar couldn’t believe our strength, stamina and perseverance. We showed such resilience too. We didn’t give up even when we were getting tired.

We were so excited to receive a medal at the end of the day, which was enormous! One of the lovely organisers commented on how well we had done, how supportive we were of each other and polite too.

Well done, girls. We are proud of you!

Key Stage Two Taster Day
Her Next Chapter
Every great story evolves — and in their KS2 years at St Hilda’s, girls write their most exciting chapter yet.
Our girls are challenged, supported and inspired as they step into a learning environment designed to stretch their thinking and spark their ambition. They are known, encouraged and celebrated not just for who they are now, but for the story they are shaping for the future.
Come and experience it for yourself at our KS2 Taster Day — a chance for your daughter to begin her next chapter at St Hilda’s.
Alternatively, our School Open Mornings — suitable for the whole family, from Early Years through to Prep — take place on 5th February 2026 and 7th March 2026.
