Thank you for your interest in St Hilda’s for your child.
We aim to make the admissions process as friendly and straightforward as possible. In the first instance, please contact our Admissions Officer, Mrs Fairhead, who can be contacted either via admissions@sthildasharpenden.co.uk or via the School telephone number, 01582 712307.
You are always welcome to visit St Hilda’s as this is the best way to find out for yourself all that we have to offer. Either Mr Sayers or the Deputy Head will be happy to speak with you and our pupils, who are very proud of their school, will be delighted to show you around.
Pupils are admitted to St. Hilda’s by interview process and the School is regularly over-subscribed. There is one class of approximately 22 pupils for each year group. There is a degree of selection at 7+ when an entry test is held should a place become available.
All assessments are conducted on a one-to-one basis with a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The primary purpose of the assessment is to ensure the child is suited to St. Hilda’s and to identify any individual needs.
Once a registration form has been completed , pupils are invited in for the assessment and following this, an offer will be made as appropriate.
