FoSH serves to build the St Hilda’s community across current and former pupils, parents and staff.
Throughout the academic year, there are a range of fundraising events organised to appeal to different interest groups. These have included wine nights, wreath making workshops, golf days, braiding classes, sponsored runs and many more.
At the end of every week, FoSH arrange a Friday Treats stall which is organised by Form parents by way of a rota. This occasion provides an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to catch up over home baked goodies and ice lollies in hotter weather.
Each term has a ‘main event’ for which participation and enjoyment are equally high.
- Our Christmas Bazaar, held on the last Saturday in November, brings together the whole school community for an afternoon of festive fun.
- Quiz Night in March is a fun Friday evening of cerebral challenges accompanied by Fish & Chips at half time and an open bar throughout.
- In June, we the have the FoSH Summer Ball or Party which is the highlight of the year for many parents and always a great send off for those leaving at the end of the term.
These events often have a raffle draw for which we are grateful to families and local businesses for their donations.
During the school year, FoSH arrange a number of pupil only events which are seasonally themed. Typically, these include Christmas Card artwork projects, Winter Disco, Easter Egg Hunts and End of Year Ice Creams.
Our usual forms of communication are via the school bulletin (every Thursday) and Form WhatsApp group so do keep an eye out for what we have planned for 2025/26.
