Form III is on the first floor of the original building. The day begins at 8:20am and ends at 3:30pm with wraparound care offered from 7:30am until 6pm. Some clubs are also available before the start of the school day. These include LAMDA with Miss O’Hare and Tennis with a visiting tennis coach.
Other clubs available for Form III to join include Recorders, Gymnastics, Junior Choir and Fencing. String group and Orchestra are also offered by invitation.
In Form III there is a slight change to the uniform requirements. The winter uniform changes from a pinafore dress to a navy pleated skirt, worn with a white shirt with a revere collar. The girls also wear a drama kit from Form III. This includes a black t-shirt, black leggings and jazz shoes. All of the uniform requirements can be found on the uniform page of the website.
The girls are given homework each week. They complete a maths homework which consolidates the learning from the lessons during the week. In addition to this they receive a spelling homework task which relates to the phonics and spellings learned during the week. Reading and Times Table practice are also to be completed each day.
The way the curriculum is taught in Form III is similar to that of how it is taught in Form II. The girls remain in their form rooms for English, Maths and PSHCE lessons, and are taught by their Form Teacher. Specialist teachers give lessons in French, RE, Computing, Music, Art, Drama and PE. The girls may be taught these lessons in other areas of the school.
