Nursery Weekly News 12th December 2018

We were so excited when we arrived at Nursery today as it was the Junior Christmas Party!

We all made a crown to wear to the party in ‘Busy Fingers’ and then we did some dancing to warm up for the main event!

At the party we danced and played games. After that we suddenly heard the sound of distant bells and before we knew it Father Christmas arrived. We were all given a gift and we all remembered to say a big ‘Thank You’.

After that it was Christmas lunch. We all pulled crackers, drew on the paper table cloths and then had a fabulous lunch.

Hooray! It’s Tuesday and time for our Marble Jar treat. We began our morning by making snowman Christmas tree decorations, (PD). We really wanted to make a real snowman but sadly it hadn’t snowed.

We then played some great party games all dressed up in our favourite dressing up costumes, (PD and PSE).

We enjoyed a great party snack time with some well deserved treats. Yum, yum!

We had a great ChIL session outside in the lovely sunshine before going to the library for a lovely Christmas story and a cuddle with our toys.

On Wednesday it was our last day at Nursery. Sadly both Willow and Emilie were poorly so there were only five of us.

We began our morning making a marshmallow snowman and cooking mince pies.

We then visited the Secret Gift Room and bought presents for some of our family.

We also gave our lovely Parent Helper, Mrs Holdstock a Christmas ‘Thank You’ present.

Just before home time our families came to hear our Christmas songs. We sang beautifully and both our teachers and parents were proud of us.

Have a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year and we look forward to seeing everyone safe and well in January.

Love From
