Form II Castle Day

On Tuesday 29th March the girls in Form II celebrated the end of their topic on Castles. The girls came dressed as people who would have lived or worked in a castle. We had knights, servants, kings, queens, princesses and even a dragon!
The day started with a role play activity. The girls interviewed each other and thought about their character and the job they would have had in a castle. We decided some jobs were better than others!
After break, the girls had to rescue a baby dragon. They used their times tables to solve clues and release the captured dragon. We celebrated by learning a medieval style dance!
In the afternoon, Form II wrote some wonderful acrostic poems. We finished the day by making a shelters or stables for our Play Mobil knight and horses.
