7th January 22
Welcome back everyone!
We had a very chatty start to our week as we had all missed each other so much and had a lot to catch up on. We then wrote all about our Christmas presents and holiday fun in our News books. Mrs Johnstone was very pleased that we only needed a couple of reminders about how to hold our pencils and form our letters. Many of us wrote more than we were able to before Christmas too!
We used the new Whiteboards to practice writing our tricky words.
We had some really interesting talks from our Show and Tell girls. We heard all about Elsa the Build a Bear, a pink mermaid pencil, an Elf bell, the best Lego Cafe ever, a setee full of teddies, two very cute Guinea pigs and a diplodocus called Dolly!
During Maths we played a really funny game called fives and tens. We all ended up with such giggles trying to count and balance with our hands and legs inthe air all the time. If you ask the girls they can teach you how to play this game at home!
We then used our 10 frames with some dice and worked on finding different ways to make 10.
Maisie came in to school for the day on Friday and the girls loved seeing her again!
Have a restful weekend everyone,
