Form I Weekly News 12th December

15th December 21

Welcome to our last Weekly News of the year!

On Monday, we had a fantastic start to the Christmas week with The Christmas Carol pantomime. We laughed, cheered, shouted, danced and clapped along to a simple, but extremely funny version of Charles Dickens’ tale.

We joined Nursery, Reception and Form II in the Seagull Studio to be surprised by Father Christmas! We loved receiving a little gift from him and playing a few games with the other girls.

We had a brief rest, watching The Gruffalo’s Child with our friends and quietly colouring in our Nativity scenes, popping them into our special bags afterwards.

We enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch including pigs in blankets, brussel sprouts and turkey.

We said a huge thank you to Sharron, Doreen and Sue in the kitchen for our delicious lunch and for cooking all of our meals at school. Have an amazing retirement ladies!

The afternoon was Party Time! We loved playing Musical Chairs, Christmas Four Corner game, Charades and going on a Treasure Hunt around the school, while sneakily dropping off Christmas cards to all of our teachers.

The hunt ended with a stocking full of gold coins and the Christmas story The Empty Stocking which we enjoyed at the end of the day.

Tuesday was our Nativity Church service rehearsal. We tried so hard to join in with all of the songs and hymns.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed making a special bauble to take home.

We said a fond farewell to Sharron, Sue and Doreen in our whole school assembly, before dancing around with everyone wishing them all a very Happy Christmas.

Wednesday was our actual Nativity Church Service. We sang our hearts out, spoke so clearly and made our teachers so proud. Happy Christmas to all of our lovely girls from Mrs Bishop, Mrs Weir and Mrs Matthews x
