This week we attended Forest School. We had a wonderful time even if it did rain! We started off exploring the forest with a Scavenger Hunt. We had to find a selection of items including something smooth, something rough, and something beautiful. The pheasant feather we found really caught our eye. Next, we took it in turns to “Meet a Tree”. We learnt how different the trees are and how unsettling it can feel to be blindfolded and guided to a different area! The next challenge was to raise a stick using only one finger, making sure everyone has their finger on it! It was very tricky but we were much better at it than the adults! Finally we made ‘God’s Eyes’ which was very relaxing.
