4th December 20
There is a definite sprinkling of Christmas creeping into the Form I classroom. We have been doing our best to keep it all under wraps until December but are busy beavering away behind the scenes in our Art lessons.
As you know our English and RE lessons are all top secret at the moment but rest assured the girls are working terribly hard to produce ….. well that would be telling!
We are working extremely hard to learn words, project our voices, put together actions and memorise the words to many different songs for our Nativity performance. Mrs J is terribly proud of how well we are doing! More details will be sent out to you as to how you will be able to view the Nativity.
We have had some rather peaceful afternoons as we are making pom pom robins which is proving to be an activity that requires both perseverance and dexterity and it is giving us a chance to all sit and chat whilst we pom pom!
Thank you to FOSH for organising the sweets and treats room on Tuesday. We all went home with full bags after a successful shopping trip!
On Thursday we decided to make a cake. We mixed the ingredients together and then popped the cake into the big cooker in the kitchen. After it had cooked we left it to cool before making icing and decorating it to look like mini Christmas trees. As a treat we then ate them for out afternoon snack!
Next week will be busy as we are finishing up for the Christmas holidays. On Wednesday we will be having a class Christmas party followed by Christmas lunch in the dining room. We are hoping that a special person may find the time to fly past for us to wave to!
