On Tuesday we celebrated St Hilda’s Day. We thought we would take a bit of time out of our busy work-filled day to stop and have a few quite moments. We focused on our breathing to help us feel calm, relaxed, settled and happy. We talked about how sometimes if we are worried, frightened or sad then taking slow and gentle breaths in and out can help us to feel better.
Mrs J then surprised us all with a bottle of bubble mixture each. We used the bubble mixture and bubble blowing wand to blow bubbles into the air using slow, gentle and long breaths. As each bubble floated away, we tried to watch them and think of something that makes us feel happy. As thinking of things that make us happy can help us to have a good day!
