2nd November 20
On Monday we were raring to go for another week in Holiday Club!
Baking this week saw us baking loads of biscuits! Ghosts, pumpkins, skeleton gingerbread men and monster biscuits. We also squeezed in ghost and spider cupcakes and a witches cat pizza.
We made lots of spooky decorations for Halloween. These included pumpkin stamps using an apple, monster bookmarks, skeleton hand puppets, wool wrapped mummies, skull hangers, spooky milk jugs, ghosts relief paintings and many more!
At the beginning of the week Mrs Matthews explained that on Friday we would be having a special Halloween Trick or Treat hunt as many people won’t be able to go Trick or Treating this year. The girls asked if they could dress up on Friday to which Mrs Matthews heartily agreed to! Great idea girls!
Friday arrived and we had witches a plenty, a fair few witches cats, princesses, The Cat in the Hat, a Superhero and a giant red T-Rex dinosaur!
We made our witches cat pizzas before going on our Trick or Treat hunt. We each had a picture list that we had to tick off when we spotted the various pictures hidden around the outdoor school grounds. The girls were great at spotting the various pictures, even though some were quite tricky to find! The skeleton was particularly tricky to find!
We then went inside for a few party games. Witchy Says (very similar to Simon Says!) and Musical Zombies (very similar to Musical Statues!) were our favourite games but by far the best fun was dancing with the dinosaur!
Mrs Matthews, Denise and Stella would like to thank the girls for another fabulously fun week at Holiday Club. Have a restful weekend ready to come back to school on Monday.
