Inspired by some beautiful mindful colouring of British Birds, Form V signed up to the RSPB’s Big School’s Birdwatch 2019.
Despite the foggy weather last week, Form V happily turned into conservation scientists to help track the number of birds in the area. Pigeons, blackbirds, robins, tits, magpies, crows and starlings were all spotted in and around the school grounds.
Our findings will be submitted later this week and will contribute to the national picture of bird life in the UK.
Thanks to Poppy, we can now all correctly identify the song of a coal tit.
Emily said, “It was really relaxing to listen to the birds singing outside.”
Maeve said, “It felt great to be a part of helping the RSPB.”
