The Show must go on!
What a fun week we have had performing ‘The Rainbow Spectacular’ to the whole school, friends and family! We have loved taking part in the show with the older girls and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Back in class, we enjoyed showing off our improved Bug Hotel to various people from Harpenden in Bloom. We spoke really clearly to the judges and explained why we had included everything. They seemed to like it. Fingers crossed we win a prize!
In French, we loved singing ‘The Farmer’s in the den’ with Madame Knight, recalling the different names of animals as we sang.
Every day after the show, we have enjoyed some relaxed ChIL in the Outdoor Classroom. Lots of us have started to write our own stories, stapling paper together and making up amazing short tales!
We have taken time to water the plants and flowers every day and even gave the Bug Hotel a water to cool it down!
We have enjoyed lots of role play outside, pretending we are having a party, having babies and also acted out ‘The Rainbow Spectacular’ again in our free play!
After our final performance of ‘The Rainbow Spectacular’ we had a very fun afternoon playing in the sprinkler. Mrs Wallace and Mrs Matthews had just as much fun soaking us all with water cannons. We were very wet. Sorry about the soggy grey socks!
Thank you to everyone who came to watch our performance. We loved performing it to you all.
