A Trip Down Memory Lane

We were delighted to welcome three grandparents from Form VI today, who shared their reminiscences of the dark days of World War II.  Rationing stories including the uses of dried egg, dig for victory, sweets not available until 1953, together with the shared experience of air raids spent in shelters, under the up-turned settee or the dining table brought a completely different era to life for our oldest girls.  A big thank you to each of our visitors.
